(ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ Never Ending Story

Well I read this book long time ago, after I saw the movie when I was a little Axel ..ha! So its from the great  writer called Michael Ende ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Ende ) And this book has no sagas ..so its great!! Since its just one book to make it all happen ! The Movie or film, will be adapting just some of the general idea of half of story in the book, or what I like to call " Atreyu´s saga" , so there will be some more true to the story concepts from my own imagination ...

This is also a project that one of  my good students its covering all over for his portafolio...

And he might need some inspiration.. So I decide to help! Also I was looking for some cool 80´s theme for my fall classes, and this is what I was more into doing a make over , in the visual development area and illustration department of course U__U !!

ヾ（〃＾∇＾）ﾉ♪ So here goes my first take; on the making of a concept for an intro  into the world of NEVER ENDING STORY , and all we are about to see make it all happen visually ...

La escalera - The stairs

 (￣▽+￣*) some sexy out of the ancient mayan inspired culture, for the #STAIRS " La #Escalera" artwork character in #ArtedeLoteria , #LoteriaMexicana , This is  some idea of what to climb for .. when you had the game called "Serpientes y Escaleras" or badly translated to : ( Snakes and stairs ) witch is about the theme I star up!  The character comes form one of my original stories a Wizard ( Chaman)  that could transform him self into a Mayan God, he also is a key element to the main plot  ..

This will be the 5th #artedeloteria Artwork character from my #AxelEztudio  project , with the Umbrella theme set up in a  lovely rain , this handy gadget its made to protect you.. so I thought to made it with my best friends and family that its in my every day life.. my pets! (°◡°♡).:｡

She is the representation of the feminine seduction in a classy way ! so for me that's also  a butterfly as well full of that elegance and sassiness (stylish and spirited nature)  in just one feminine curvy body!

ಠ◡ಠ El Diablo-The Devil

 (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑ "El Diablo" 2nd character  in Mexican Lottery artwork  #ArtedeLoteria  : The Devil is neither a he or she,   but it does have some attitude to troll people with his big tail full of deception and lies .. where see no evil in reverse, was the topic of that big hat full of secrets ..

 So its fun to imagine  this character  do some mischief here and there with the weak at will power to get through their own problems ! 

Any how , "El Diablo" its mustily a character that many religions use to get a portrait of human´s bad behaviour. 

In my opinion its a very unrealistic character so I don't take it too seriously this idea of his existence , rather than just take his design as a reminder  to watch and get real solutions with  my own  problems with wisdom and discipline of the heart and mind, that so many times get me into trouble when I don't do it!!(≧д≦ヾ)  

Trabajos en progreso ARte de Loteria

Pues les comparto lo que debe hacer uno antes de crear estas tarjetas de #ArtedeLoteria que patrocina los premios de este reto  #AxelEztudio  :

1*Primero Thumbs de su composición y de quien podría ser su tentativo personaje dentro de esta tarjeta según se de el tema: este proceso no me toma mas 5 minutos cada propuesta , y me ayuda mucho a editar lo que quiero hacer visualmente !! 

2* Tener solo 6 colores que limiten mi arte con personaje, incluyendo BG /background) , o fondo , de esta forma no estoy teniendo colores repetidos con la misma paleta en ninguna de las 54 tarjetas...

El Gallito, its my character of the  very FIRST card in this Mexican Lottery Game!! 

He is the must cocky guy in this cards  get it ? ?? (ノ*゜▽゜*)... O well  was meant to be fun for me while I paint it!! 

Also its a bit  of a tradition in Mexican fairs the  Cock fight!! And that is funny to for me to

Well I am an 80´s kid! so Star Wars its on my childhood memory ,and lucky for me also worked in it later on!

But I want it to make something out of the usual context !  that wont be the characters and stories that Hollywood always does to play safe! 

So I need a protagonist I can relate to, and also to be a different strong woman... This is why I made this alien Princess, she was trained by her sister´s father as a Jedi , but then her aunt  turned an inquisitor in order to survive with the empire,  so she is now able to get more the knowledge by their two branches, the way in which  the grey zone of the force is, meaning she is not all is white or black type ..but more to work towards what makes more sense in the universe for the time she is there, she has an unique staff that has 3 Jedi crystals, its a weapon of her own invention, and her companion :"Votzy" its her little reminder of doing whats in the agenda for her to earn the respect she needs to recover her kingdom!

When I do fan Art! since I write and make up fantasy worlds of my own! I rather use something completely new that could fit into the franchise or brand, that I am using for inspiration rather that just draw what its hip and trend! This practice help me lots to learn more into my flexible points toward various designs and point of views !

This wont be a full render art, rather than just a visual development to get that style  I am looking for the production!

(∪ ◡ ∪) Zherezade Visual development

I put as an example , the first process in visual development  in a main character for an animated production, that many studios have. 

This image sows, how every artist must think in the design , with the aspect of her acting in the story, with some clear style that will be more in development later, then  the world she or he comes from , and the close friends,. or companions she/he,  learn to be around within  the beginning of the story.

This is an image that is the first impression from the character and her world to all  of us, this is an image we all  have in any character in any story : so it  must be successful at  selling this character ! 

This process of drawing is kinda like you where  a casting director, you must  make a decision for the role for each concept in here,  such as the sets (BG) that your production will be showing in  the story

 If this first impression does goes the right way , I can keep going with the development , in case this does not feels natural to the story , then its time to make more research and more drawing! 

Indian Dancer╰(✧∇✧╰)

Since India have such great  Dance types:  can be a cool thing to get it right with various characters, mustily if I made them in a high technology and magical  place ; where the Digins or Genies can rule this world... and since dancing is very much a magical experience if done right.. this dancers could create great spells while they dance... Don´t you think ? Who is your favorite? ｢(ﾟﾍﾟ)? who knows I just want to have fun with something I will do if I had this topic ... ⌒°(ᴖ◡ᴖ)°⌒

☆~~ヾ(>▽<)ﾉ｡･☆ The Night´s King

Some Character design , in the concept art style, that fits better this King that rules the white walkers in the North Winter Land. He may be the biggest thread, that all the kingdoms inside Game of Thrones, must face against to the magic as old as time ! kinda like dragons.. 

I took this character since its the must magical enemy apparently... but maybe hes not as bad as we think?  ｢(ﾟ<ﾟ)ﾞ??

El Rey de la Noche , quien pudiere ser o no el enemigo principal de la historia , en juego de tronos. Dejando este diseño de personajes,  al estilo de arte conceptual, mayormente usado, en producciones donde hay FX visuales mas realistas y menos caricatura en general.

Well Game of thrones can be a very cool history if you see it from a practice point of view, as I do , This way I can practice free style, with  all my  character and concept art designs that I got in a peculiar product! Hope you enjoy the journey and lets see what I can finish before May 16!

≖‿≖ Chak- El Mago Guerrero

Un personaje que siempre quise hacer es un mago mesoamericano, con la potestad de defenderse el solo con su propia fuerza . 

Ahora el mundo Maya de este cuento esta lleno de tecnología y magia, lo cual hace muy atractivo para mi re-diseñar los penachos y las plumas , como los colores y los símbolos de esta magnifica cultura que dejo tanto conocimientos y secretos aun por descubrir a la humanidad actual! 

CHACK ¡Es un soñador! Defiende los derechos de la vida,  pues intenta lograr alcanzar una meta que nadie quiere pensar que es posible: lograr evolucionar junto con todos sus demás amigos.

Les dejo mi primer avance sobre su ilustración de personaje principal : Chakh en su diseño tiene que vender la idea de un futuro Dios del Amor y la sabiduría. como lo fue Quetzalcoatl (ﾟヮﾟ)

◦°˚\(*❛‿❛)/˚°◦ Águila y Nopal-Inicio de una pintura

El inicio de mi nueva pintura de mi estudio esta con el tema de un águila y un Nopal 

y ya que soy muy fan de mis personajes, ( Pos ni modo que no) Yo elegí a uno de los mas seductores que tengo para representar mejor a México, ya que si con alguien estoy casado es con México siempre sera mi país preferido!  

Estoy eligiendo ahorita una paleta de colores que valla con el Art Deco , ya que siento que representa muy bien esta corriente de arte,  lo moderno y antiguo que debe también darnos el estilo Maya. 

Elegí una pose de espalada , por que son las mas difíciles que me toco aprender cuando dibujaba anatomía todos los días hasta la fecha.. y claro lo sensual no se me quitara jamas en mi arte!

Bien este Mago es todo un hombre inquieto, le gusta volar practicando su magia mitológica, por la jungla con sus amigos. La escuela fue fundada por los antiguos dioses Mayas, para todo aquello que busque hechizos superiores que sirven para proteger al planeta , los animales y la vida..

Estos conceptos de a continuación son mi Pitch de historia , antes de pasarme a crear arte conceptual que sea mas enfocada en cada elemento que tiene la narrativa del cuento (*＾▽＾)／

I do love designing characters so here is my take on the theme: 
I give you   Sailor Earth! ೭੧(❛▿❛✿)੭೨

 She is the one , I will root for in this days , since the planet needs also love to fight the right things, not just from outsiders,  ( like the usual aliens we see on the show) but from instead people like us , that need some love in their life to get things right! Besides Mexico, ( and other countries)  need some love from that lovely gold color skin! I am not much of a fan , on white washing every single character there is in shows that want to be cool! seems far from real on girls and boys around the planet for me ! I do not color pick with my brush, earth...has all the colors you need , not just few! 

Mi Sailor de la Tierra, hecha para la batalla que tenemos dentro del planeta ,para que en nombre del amor pongamos mas amor para todos! y luchemos para dejar una huella que ayude a los demás y no solo a nuestros deseos personales! Por que si lo planeamos bien , y pensamos en todos, podemos ayudar y ayudarnos al mismo tiempo y ser felices con lo bueno de la vida ... la verdadera vida... jajaja!  Y el tono de piel y el arte , me inspiro de México y sus bailes tradicionales, ocupamos mas personajes diversos y no solo blancos , que no pueden ser quienes representen a todos los niños del mundo! soy buen fan de la piel dorada, y todos los colores que hay en el planeta !! No se limiten artistas!
