Proporción para los personajes principales de la Historia Interminable

Well doing lots of work, was able today to make a line of start , for my character design challenge in the Never Ending story book project for my last class of this year !

Any ways ... so where do we start right?

1 - Shapes ..always make the shape be your first impression to portrait what ever the character supposed to be , the basic shapes always go for 3 basic ones that are ; triangle, square and circle , make arrangements using this base,  to make something unique combine them and be creative ... this is the way the brain and the eye will make out your visual stand up , from the others...

2- Best concept must portrait a basic color over the basic shape.  dont just make a boring hero concept and do red on them to stand out ... its better to take it personal , for example in Bastian, I went for the concept of " Unique" since that will make for me a nerdy and dreamy character such as him to be interesting , and I went with green , browns and whites, since that´s for me a very interesting color in must of the leaves that many plants show off , either  the forest or the jungle, and each plant is unique... so I went into that way for him.. also they  can be  squarish and reliable just like Bastian is for us reader to keep up the story going ..


Then last is presentation will be the mash up of head proportion in the main  characters that make the plot keep moving around the whole story...

Well I read this book long time ago, after I saw the movie when I was a little Axel ..ha! So its from the great  writer called Michael Ende ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Ende ) And this book has no sagas ..so its great!! Since its just one book to make it all happen ! The Movie or film, will be adapting just some of the general idea of half of story in the book, or what I like to call " Atreyu´s saga" , so there will be some more true to the story concepts from my own imagination ...

This is also a project that one of  my good students its covering all over for his portafolio...

And he might need some inspiration.. So I decide to help! Also I was looking for some cool 80´s theme for my fall classes, and this is what I was more into doing a make over , in the visual development area and illustration department of course U__U !!

ヾ（〃＾∇＾）ﾉ♪ So here goes my first take; on the making of a concept for an intro  into the world of NEVER ENDING STORY , and all we are about to see make it all happen visually ...

Venusiah -La alta sacerdotisa, hechicera, bruja, y mago del reino de Zayatzi

Bien como saben me puse a trabajar re diseñando campeones, Creando un nuevo continente que tuviera mejor diseño y plot para crear personajes interesantes...

 En secreto el reino le pertenece al mismo tiempo a mi historia de Tahrot（＊〇□〇）……！

 ˭̡̞(◞⁎˃ᆺ˂)◞*✰ El reino de los Dioses: es uno de los últimos en visitar en la historia,  esta basado en mucha mitología mesoamericana , y civilizaciones antiguas.. con personajes como VENUSIAH , Ella es la Carta de la "Hechicera" en este reino y es muy importante en la saga del personaje Avhel ( el principal )  encontrar todas las cartas relacionadas con magia, para poder despertar un  poder oculto en el reino de Tahrot...

(/^▽^)/ Aquí pongo la demostración que hice para la clase, en como podemos jugar con el diseño de personaje en distintas jerarquías , usando su base visual , y creando diversas respuestas de producción como lo hacen en la industria de animación , cine y video juegos.. siempre... 

ヾ（〃＾∇＾）ﾉ♪ Recomiendo este ejercicio de corrida de personajes en jerarquías , para investigar que tan fuertes son visualmente , así como a la vez, saber que tan versatile eres como artista entendiendo los distintos tipos de producción que existen en nuestra industria... 

Audrey Hepburn- portrait collection

Well a very good friend of us , and also a great human kind, ask me to do some artwork from his favorite celebrities for his new home office, a project that I neglected since Christmas , since I had lots of  work... Like I usually always do to be honest...

 BUT  this spring break, I am able to finish all the work I agreed to finish, and printed as well, as a surprise for him I hope ... haha! o((*^▽^*))o 

So this is the preview for his top celebrity , the one and only : Audrey Hepburn, a true icon of many generations... and a great example as well, for human relationships and humble attitude to follow her helpful work she did , as a public personality, to  aid less fortunate people in her knowledge than her.. I learn so much more in my investigation about her , while I did the sketches ans so many ideas , to get her personality right ! 

I end up , doing my own interpretation , based on the top 3 movies that in my opinion get her charisma, elegance and unique cense of life as and "avant garde" woman of the century... Like Audrey was... witch are:

My Fair Lady, Sabrina, and Breakfast at Tiffany´s ..with some flair artwork inspiration from Roman Holiday posters...

Well since I do like making a world of my own no matter the fiction I am working on, since well I must love it, if I want to draw it right?

Now The Kingdom of Sayatzi, and the people that lives in the 3 main cities :

(ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ Yordle fan fiction art

Well Since League of legends its upgrading their own lore story , so all characters and its universe could be more cohesive towards the diversity from  all the characters this game has.

I did with my class a fan fiction story  based on all the good and evil that must be inside Runeterra, in order to make a good background world development  and culture in a more epic way , like I usually do, with my own personal choice treatments for story of  #leagueoflegends, that I like to do in my personal time. with  brand new  6 fantastic champions .

It will al start with a great Etheric #Mage from the #Yordle race, his or her name will be #Venusiah, and we must start always by setting up the Thumbnail process , but before we do, we must have a clear idea on how their proportions and anatomy work, so we don´t make a bad example on the yordle town community .. Oh !! And we also going to design a brand new #BandleCity ..not a town .. coz that´s what they shown  in LOL, so far

My starting point to investigate the Yordle tribe, was first of to make a new Yordle redesign that already exist inside League of Legends. SO I went for Veigar, since I do think he is a very needed character to be more precise into the look of his tribe, and less into the Vivi, or Orko vibes his old design went for in my opinion ;

Ghost Pokemon evolution for Chandelure

Well I am into Ghost Pokemon types, (mostly coz they got lots of purple ) σ(≧ε≦ｏ)

SO... I decide to have a bit of a warm up time , outside my usual work, and do some race gender for the evolution of the Fire Ghost Pokemon  called "Chandelure" (609), his first shape comes as : Litwick (607) , and then becomes Lampent (608)

Hope you enjoy the design I did for this fan art characters from the Pokemon world.

(((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o))) I do like them though, I think the look interesting in my head enough, in order to take the time to do this challenge, in order to do some upgrading with their hierarchy...
  

ヽ(‘ ∇‘ )ノ Una Falsa mujer ...profeta jaja

(ノ)ʘ﹃ʘ(ヾ) A false #Prophet its a secondary character for my #Tahrot Story, 

Her name is #Lux. and she is part of a huge cast of characters that I  am currently under development in the story , that could not came out  until  all the writing was done...

So I did wrote enough already in order to  share some thoughts : on how I develop the initial ideas of her design , once I know her role inside the story's plot ...

 LUX : She is a former Witch, that used to have the best seer powers, but lost them from an evil demon that suck all her magical power out of her, leaving only her human form .... She is now trying to recover her powers and seeking allies to do so , she will use all her knowledge as a Witch, and her fame as a seer to do so .. 


Went for the #Nun mood ﾍ(ﾟ∇ﾟﾍ) Since they all seem a bit crazy, wicked, and immature in the spirituality aspects of themselves,  And they seem to be always accepting , and preaching  the unproven  words: from  another holy man to cover their own fears!! (｡□ﾟﾉ)ﾉ I got more.. so let me be back at works and be back with you guys with more artwork that its coming to be the very visual for my own story!

(╯✧∇✧)╯ Tahrot´s Vampire God

Well Vampires in my world are kinda like a big dio , not because they suck blood, ( Thats already not my priority ) I decide rather to use them as magical beings that can feed upon any bad or good thing that make us human, like : fears, dreams of glory, passion, loneliness, sweet memories, etc.. so there is  a good possibility you can find God or Bad Vampires inside  the world of #Tahrot ...

(۶ꈨຶꎁꈨຶ )۶ So after having so much writing I finally can reveal : The only and so much awesome Vampire GOD ...#Ezequiel 

Reasons I like this character:

1. ╭(♡･ㅂ･)و ̑̑ Its an alter virtuoso EGO of me ...So I love writing this about him haha! 
2. He will talk all languages weird, like I do, since he can read minds better than talking .
3.  He build an eternal land full of pretty things that never die..protecting it from rotten like time does to all beauty you can see and touch .. 
4. He can manipulate anybody whom possess blood; to make him/her change the way they look like , or to live again if they die by violence...
5. He is an enemy of those Who seek powers, and if their way to achieve it, It's to make good things around them go away...they will end up having a good end from the God himself...
6. He cares for inner beauty more than the exterior one, since that is the only aspect of a person that can make beautiful things to bloom around her, or him.. and he is a great fan of Beauty! 
7. He can have a very merciful attitude towards those who want to harm him, since he knows its not a personal thing, its just that they don't understand things, so they are afraid.
8. If Someone harms an innocent creature, he can lose his cool attitude pretty fast ! and be pretty vicious to reveal his evil side of  his powers...
9. He is not all that together, having a lot of trouble dealing with patience to tolerate ignorance in his close relationships , so he can be pretty lonely and happy to be that way...    
10. He is eternal and by his experience he can judge a lot the other people if they are. or not doing their work right , so he try a lot, not to let his emotions take the best of him, to  understand people in a more efficient way .. This way he will try  others fairly, regardless of his feelings towards them. 

SO as you can see I can be very much attached to his personality and the goals he can achieve in my story, remember he is not a main character, but he plays a very important role to the story of #Tahrot

(ﾉ≧∀≦)ﾉ Well these cartoons have done so much to boost my imagination since I was a little kid!! So to honor them I will post some fan --every now and then ..to use it as a fun practise day of art, to me aside from all the heavy work and design I always must do all year long!!

some rant about my 80´s cartoons: ヾ(｡･ω･)ｼ  I miss them so much ..and I mean that felling were you can conquer your own dreams with more awesome dreams!! Was kinda the message in all these cartoons...  Now as adult I am so happy to be part of that generation of cartoons , comic books, T.v shows, movies, and books..  since to be honest ... creativity was more interesting back in the 80´s they did the franchise of today! and the worst ..its That they haven't even improve them in a interesting matter...

⤴︎ ε=ε=(ง ˃̶͈̀ᗨ˂̶͈́)۶ ⤴︎ I mean I do thanks for characters like  Shiro!!! , in #dreamworks ,animation television, for the  #Voltron  story ..

 I was expecting revolutionary characters like him, since 30 year ago .. so thanks!! And no more one line arcs characters this characters..that its not their sexuality that matter but to be free to be whom ever you want to be ...

Tahrot´s Spiritual and Ghost World

(ﾉ^∇^)ﾉﾟ This is exiting !! Let me share the introduction of A place inside  the worlds within: Tahrot, and the visual development that I will start to  sneak peak some art , 
  (ﾉ^ヮ^)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧ with joy  to anybody whom is watching...
So let me tell you : It will be  full of  heavily inspired legends and stories of all favorites like #DayoftheDead, #Halloween, and #Christmas eve  with all Fall and Winter Holidays character that you all know , although they will have my own interpretation and twist off course.. .. 

Dios Hongo, rey de los gnomos

(ﾉ^ヮ^)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧En el fantástico mundo de # Tahrot , Hace ya tiempo existió un  antiguo Rey Gnomo ., El fue el padre de la gran Diosa actual del la vida llamada " SPORAH"o Gaia, para la mayoría de los forasteros del Reino de las Ninfas.

Sporah al ser ella convertida en una diosa, Convirtió a sus padres en seres divinos,  SU padre el Rey Gnomo, fue conocido como el Dios Hongo, protector  Abuelo del Bosque Mágico de las Ninfas.

（。＞ω＜）。Y este es su primer boceto oficial para mi cuento relacionado con este personaje..

 El reino de #TAROT :ocupa  personajes para el Reino de los Fantasmas !! Y sus Escudos de cada uno , son siempre una diversion para mi que añadirle a sus diseños..

A fast concept art for the Nymph's kingdom inside of Tarot , inside the Gaia's Forest  ,  This  kingdom can grow with out boundaries... The grounds from this  forest remains undiscovered by must people..   

Also, did today  the concept for  Tree Mushroom's tower, were a magical character that poses a  very unique magic , lives inside ...

This its a character that will be part of my TAROT World, he its mustily a God , although not a really great one... So he tricks bad people to make him more powerful, and recover his true powers ...

He will be in the Kingdom of The Nymphs , and that means he will be  crossing paths with Thumbelina, Rapunzel, Pinocho, and so many other characters that I rewrote in this huge adventure caller "Tarot" ...

This is the way a portray his first steps to become a good character that could do some nice acting in my story ..

Aquí les dejo unos avances de personajes dentro del Reino de la Vida , donde cuentos como "Pulgarcita" , y  Rapunzel, están emergidas en un gran bosque encantado donde todo lo mas grande sucede en lugares muy pequeños para la mayoría...

El Duque Bombon

Bien este es un personaje muy interesante que se le conoce por primera vez; en el Reino de los Dulces ( así no se llama realmente)
El Conde tiene la tarea de Capturar Gnomos , para ello usa a su mejor carnada , su mejor amiga la Gran maestra de las Ilusiones "Belle" ( aunque ella no esta siempre muy en acuerdo en ser utilizada  para sus planes del conde, pero comprende su misión) :

o(^▽^)o A Royal Grape

This is just a daily character for my TAROT royal court ..She is the Royal Duchess of the Grape Berry District "Razvy" shes is never happy with others , even with her wealthy  position ,  She likes only the company of  her lovely and perfumed pets called; "Adore", and the small one "Fleuri"...a gift from the Royal Candy Witch Queen... 

I did add another Puddle made of magical flowers, and a very special Rose ( with a very unusual power) It will all come up in the Story of Tarot  !
